Day 1
Arrive into Conwy - Conwy Castle’s a great place to get lost. The town walls are almost fully intact, nearly a mile long. Twenty one towers and three gateways dot the walls. It’s best to head right up to the far corner of the town where the views back towards the castle are superb. You can even go toilet spotting, if that’s your thing - twelve medieval latrines stick out of the wall near the Mill Gate. If you’re a little castled out by now (after all they have 641), go and see Britain’s smallest house on the quay. It’s 6ft wide by 8ft high, and it used to be owned by a 6’3”ft fisherman.

Further along the coast is Caernarfon.  Caernarfon Castle was built between 1283 and 1301, this castle was Edward I's most impressive stronghold. The polygonal towers and colour-banded masonry were based on Constantinople's 5th-century walls, and set it apart from the other castles of North Wales. It has proved almost impregnable; in 1404, 28 bedraggled men withstood Owain Glyndwr's siege, and during the 17th-century civil war it was unsuccessfully attacked three times. Overnight accommodation in Caernarfon

Day 2
Why not have a sailing lesson on ‘Bangers and Mash’ a 24 foot Hunter 707 keelboat – Abersoch on the Llyn Peninsular (weather dependent).

Take a trip on the Welsh Highland Steam Railway.  The Welsh Highland Railway features the most powerful 2' gauge steam locomotives in the world on a journey through the spectacular Snowdonia National Park from Caernarfon to Pont Croesor near Porthmadog making it the UKs longest steam heritage railway.

Welcome to Portmeirion, the oddest village ever conceived, standing serenely on the hills above the Dwryryd estuary in northwest Wales. Perhaps best know as ‘the Village’ in the 1960’s cult TV series The Prisoner; Portmeirion might look as though it was designed by some impossible committee. In fact, it was the brainchild of a single architect, Sir Clough Williams-Ellis, who acquired this remote promontory in 1925 and didn't complete his dream project until 1975, when he was in his nineties. Overnight accommodation Portmeirion

Day 3
Forestry Commission Wales' mountain bike Mecca, Coed-y-Brenin forest is home to an ever increasing network of fantastic handbuilt all weather singletrack including the newly refurbished 'Falseteeth' incorporating the biggest feature in the forest, 'The Cavity' drop in and get spat out over the exit with as much style as you can muster! The technical roller coaster riding will have you grinning like a fool, with stunning mountain views of surrounding Snowdonia that'll take your breath away!

Afternoon - Picnic Lunch at Castell-y-Bere. Overnight accommodation at The Yurt Farm, Ceredigion

Day 4
Coastal Explorer Day - have a mix of sea based activities off the coast of Pembrokeshire National Park, sit-on-top kayaking, coasteering, snorkelling and even try your hand at fishing. You can discover hidden coves, explore dark caves and sandy beaches, and hopefully get to see the wildlife above and below the water (its prime seal pup time in Pembrokeshire at the end of September). Overnight accommodation St Davids.

Day 5
Make the 2 hour drive to Cardif for White Water Rafting in the city! Cardiff International White Water (CIWW) is situated at International Sports Village in Cardiff Bay it opened in 2010 and is unique in the UK. Positioned on the Bay Edge walkway, you will be able to access the site and view action on the water before taking the plunge into the rapids. For a thrilling water sports adventure they offer a unique environment of on-demand white water, plus access to a diverse river system for flat water paddlers only a stones throw away from the city centre. Overnight accommodation Cardiff.
