Day 1
Seven Sisters, East Sussex

Walk along the white cliffs and discover the beauty of this unspoilt landscape. The Seven Sisters Country Park comprises 280 hectares of chalk cliffs, meandering river valley and open chalk grassland. It is a popular place for a number of outdoor activities including walking, bird watching, cycling and canoeing. Overnight Eastbourne area.

Day 2
New Forest, Hampshire

The forest has changed little since William the Conqueror gave it his special protection over 900 years ago. Whether you are walking, cycling or horse- riding, you can discover your own quiet haven where the only sounds are those of nature – the haunting cries of the curlew and lapwing, the chattering of the Dartford warbler, or the mellow tune of the wood lark. Day 3
Nelson Trail, Hampshire

The Nelson Trail has been designed to allow people to walk in the footsteps of Britain’s greatest naval hero, Admiral Lord Nelson. This trail takes you through parts of the old town of Portsmouth, highlighting places and buildings of interest relating to Vice Admiral Lord Nelson and Portsmouth around the time of the Battle. Oxfordshire Cotswolds

Classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Oxfordshire Cotswolds are a beautiful representation of quintessential England. Every which way you turn you will find sweeping landscapes and picture postcard villages that both captivate and charm, making it the popular tourist haven that it is today. Overnight Oxford area.

Isle of Wight

For a break you’ll always remember, no island comes this close! The island boasts 60 miles of spectacular coastline, with picturesque coves and beautiful bays of golden sand with safe bathing. You’ll be tempted to explore the countryside at all times of the year, following the many paths and trails. Overnight Isle of Wight.

Windsor Great Park, Windsor, Berkshire

Windsor Great Park covers 4,800 acres, parts of which are open to the public. Its present area was determined in the 1360s and was popular with Saxon kings as a hunting forest. The park is shrouded in mystery and legend and for over 1,000 years the story of Herne the Hunter has been told. The park today is the perfect place for picnics, walking, cycling and horse riding. A footpath map of the park is available from the Royal Windsor Information Centre.

Ventnor Botanic Gardens, Ventnor, Isle of Wight
The Botanic Garden on the Isle of Wight is a place where the pleasure of plants can be enjoyed to the fullest, it is also a place where people of all ages can learn more about the wonderful world of plants and the inextricable
link that we have with them. There is much happening at Ventnor and there is a firm commitment to the furtherance of peoples understanding of the plant kingdom.

Samphire Hoe, Dover, Kent
Samphire Hoe is an amazing place, with something for everybody - a stunning location, wild flowers, birds, sea angling, peace and quiet, painting or walks. The site is accessible for all people, providing gentle and interesting walks - the further you get from the car park the more wild the site becomes. Guided walks and other activities are regularly organised.

Groombridge Place and Enchanted Forest, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent

Hever Castle and Gardens, Edenbridge, Kent

Early spring begins with witch hazels and snowdrops with bolder colours from daffodils and tulips following. Late spring brings vibrant colours from the rhododendrons and azaleas before summer arrives with roses, delphiniums and sweet peas.
