The Solheim Cup returns to Scotland, The Home of Golf. The tournament takes place at The Gleneagles luxury hotel and championship Golf course.
Next week the biggest event in women’s golf is returning to Scotland after 19 years!
The 16th edition of the Solheim Cup is taking place at the iconic golfing venue of Gleneagles in Perthshire, from September 9th to September 15th, where the best players from Europe and the US will compete head-to-head in match play format. Visit Scotland estimates that the all-female golf competition will bring in more than 100,000 spectators in attendance across the course of the tournament.
This year, Juli Inkster captains the US team, winners of the past two tournaments, for the third time running, whilst Scottish born and bred Catriona Matthews captains the European team for the first time.
