Acquiring a golf handicap certificate can be quite difficult. Best of Scotland Holidays is introducing a new package to make this easy for you, by teaming up with Elmwood College, near St.Andrews. The college, a short drive from St. Andrews, has its own golf course, Elmwood. The facilities provide a learning environment for our professional golf students, who train under the watchful eye of the College’s PGA Golf Professional, with a view to working eventually as golf coaches.
Once 3 rounds have been played, under strict rules, and 3 cards have been handed into the club a golf handicap certificate will be presented. This handicap certificate will be recognised by every golf club in the world.
The Chief Executive of Best of Scotland Holidays, Duncan Dewar said, “As far as I know we are the only company to offer such a package. To play in Scotland is one thing, but to get your golf handicap from ‘the home of golf’ must be something else!” He went on to say, “In some countries you can’t get membership of a golf club unless you have a handicap certificate so what better way than to combine a holiday in Scotland and get that all important handicap certificate.”
